The 2015 vintage of this Chardonnay quickly became a house favorite for its concentration and purity. This year, grapes from the same vineyard, made with the same techniques have made our 2016 vintage reminiscent of a summer picnic in the sunflower fields of Tuscany-unique and wonderful. On the nose, this wine smells like Anjou pears, fresh herbs and warm sunshine. Coupled with the mouth-watering acidity of fresh Golden Delicious apples, this barrel-fermented wine boasts an incredible richness that balances out the acidity and delights the palate. The distinct flavor lingers for an extremely long and enjoyable finish, while the bright acidity assures that this wine will age well for years to come.
