Sourced from Destin Vineyard, our 2019 Estate Syrah showcases Kirk Venge’s winemaking at its finest. Our eighth vintage of this wine is complex, powerful, and bold. A deliciously abundant array of flavors including blackberry, toffee, spice, pepper, bacon fat, tobacco, and anise are experienced on both the bouquet and palate. This robust wine has everything going for it–concentrated flavors, enticing tannins, balanced acidity, and a lengthy finish leaving you wanting more. It’s no secret why this wine is a stand-out! Pair this Syrah with beef, ribs, slow-roasted pork, and smoked or barbecued meats with strong flavors. Deliciously approachable now, but will get better with age–if you have the patience.
