“I truthfully believe Laki Vassiliadis would be quite proud today of what has become of his namesake vineyard. For us making this wine, the greatest challenge was in understanding the old vines planted there decades ago and allowing them the opportunity to communicate what this vineyard collectively has to say through the climate, soil and vine. I believe ’18 was a fantastic vintage to find the voice in these old vines.”
